Ben Lamb on Keeping a Low Profile, His Love of Golf & The Emotional and Physical Toll of Poker | 888Ride Ep:4

On this episode of 888Ride, David Tuchman is joined by the 2011 WSOP Player of the Year, Ben Lamb.

Although a very accomplished player, with two WSOP Bracelets and two Main Event final tables to his name, Lamb keeps a bit of a low profile these days. He reveals that he only plays about 50-60 days a year, including the $50,000 buy-in PLO event at the WSOP. On the topic of his deep WSOP runs, Lamb details the mental and emotional toll it takes playing a poker tournament for 5, 6 and 7 days.

Known for his accomplishments on the felt, Lamb reveals that most of his attention these days has turned to the golf course. He is very passionate about the game and his pursuit of getting better at it, of course while betting huge sums of money on each hole. He even reveals that he is working on a new show based around the world of high stakes golf betting.

Check out the other 888Ride episodes for more great chats with guests like Jeff Platt, Phil Galfond and Shaun Deeb.
